Going Green, Sustainably
RetroFoam Insulation was created to solve the problem of wasted energy in our existing buildings. RetroFoam makes buildings more energy-efficient. Efficiency is the first step in transitioning to a sustainable world.
RetroFoam Insulation is manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities, using an industrial recycled process. The overall manufacturing process is carbon-negative.
We provide standardized efficiency instruction to each RetroFoam technician, maximizing the insulation benefits for the homeowner and insuring maximum energy savings on utility costs.
RetroFoam Insulation is shipped as a dry powder. This practice saves transportation energy. This practice also allows us to use non-potable water to reconstitute the insulation on-site.
Going forward in an effort to further green our business, we will examine and publish our own carbon footprint. We will also provide and publish an analysis of our embodied energy and your potential energy savings on utility costs.
We will go beyond basics. We will examine and analyze areas of improvement. We will conduct a Life-Cycle Assessment for RetroFoam to guide future manufacturing and product design decisions.
As we strive to create the world's most sustainable solutions for green-building, we will consider the environmental impact of everything we do and how we can do it better. Our ultimate goal is to operate with zero waste.
I have wanted to make the step toward sustainable business practices for a long time. Now is the time. Now more than ever, we are struggling to manage resources efficiently to meet our current needs as well as the concern for our future generations' ability to meet their needs.
